Be the First Ever U.S. Youth Observer at the United Nations

The United Nations Association of the USA has just put out a call for applications for the first-ever U.S. Youth Observer  to the UN summit in New York next month. This is being organized in partnership with the State Department. The Youth Observer would interact with and accompany the American delegation to the United Nations and participate in a number of events during UN week.

The U.S. Youth Observer will have the opportunity to participate in events and activities surrounding the upcoming 67th session of the United Nations General Assembly, including interacting with the U.S. delegation and other youth representatives from around the world.

Applicants should be available September 21-28; three to five days in October, and open to occasional travel as possible. He/she will have the opportunity to witness a wide variety of activities while in New York, and should be prepared to share their experiences with youth throughout the United States.
