Five Members of Congress, Activists Arrested Outside Sudanese Embassy

Huffington Post relays video of a protest outside the Sudanese Embassy in Washington, D.C. which resulted in the arrest of five members of congress, including civil rights legend John Lewis.  Representatives Keith Ellison (who is the only Muslim member of Congress), netroots hero Donna Edwards, Jim McGovern of Massachusetts and Lynn Woolsey of Califonia were all taken into custody by uniformed secret service police this morning.  Save Darfur presient Jerry Fowler and author and Enough Project’s  John Prendergast were also taken into custody.
