By: Mark Leon Goldberg on July 22, 2011 UDPATE: It seems that Norway is under attack on multiple fronts. Details are still sketchy at this point, but there are confirmed reports of a shooting incident at a summer camp attending by youth members of the liberal party. Apparently a man dressed up as a police officer opened fire. The Guardian has the story. Word is trickling out via Twitter of an apparent massive explosion in Oslo, Norway. This photo depicts an entire building face ripped off. BBC reports that the blast occurred near government buildings: The blast is thought to have caused damage to the offices of Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg and a number of other official buildings. Witnesses have said several people were injured in the incident in the centre of the city… A journalist with Norwegian public radio station NRK said the headquarters of tabloid newspaper VG were also damaged. This video depicts the commotion after the blast. I would reccomend following Twitter user @chaglen. He appears to be in on the scene. Photo credit and video credit are his. More soon. UPDATE: A second video of the aftermath. UPDATE II: This video was uploaded to YouTube about 10 minutes ago.
